A Merry Christmas Indeed
I had an amazing Christmas and I hope you did too! I haven’t posted in a while because there has been so much going on with finals, moving into a new apartment, and of course the holidays. I took a few pictures of some of the Christmas decor in my house because I thought it looked really pretty and it was a great welcome home in addition to seeing my family.
One of my favorite things I did once I got back home in Minnesota was go out shopping for some last minute gifts for my family. The Mall of America is extremely busy this time of year as you could probably guess with all the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers.
A tradition my family has every Christmas Eve is going to Christmas Ever service at church and then coming home and making homemade Belgium Waffles accompanied by a Christmas movie. This year the movie of choice was “It’s A Wonderful Life,” my personal favorite.
Christmas Eve service was awesome as usual with a live nativity made up of two camels, a donkey, ducks, a few sheep, a llama, and a calf. For Christmas day my grandparents made a trip up from Winona and joined us for a day of family, food, and fun.
This has all been a great start to my Christmas Vacation. Be looking out for more of my posts as I travel to see family in Tuscon, AZ and also to Las Vegas for one of my good friends 21st birthday. A busy break for sure but a lot of fun in store!
Happy Holidays Everyone!
