Foreman Scholarship Dinner
Dr. Fred Foreman was a legend at Iowa State University while he served as a professor. His commitment to helping students is what he is most remembered for. Today, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) students are still being helped by his legacy. A scholarship fund was started to give back to students who give back to the CALS at Iowa State. Students selected must maintain a good GPA and be great ambassadors for the college. Scholarship recipients are selected from applicants to the general CALS scholarship application each spring.
I am very grateful to all those who donated to this scholarship. Without it, I would not be able to give so much back to the greatest university on earth. The dinner was held in the second floor Parks Library rotunda. We ate surrounded by Grant Woods murals; very appropriate.
