A Note From Me To You
You’ve got a lot going on right now. Studying, finals, and who knows what else have you overwhelmed and stressed, and frankly, who can blame you? College can be a lot of pressure and work. I’m right there with you. It’s hard to stay positive when there is a sea of responsibility (and not to mention, deadlines) in front you.
But I want you to take a second and breathe. Breathe and look at the bigger picture. Often times, I forget about the good things going on in my life and let the little, stressful things take precedence in my mind. Challenge yourself to not let this happen to you. Remember why you’re here dealing with these stressful things. Are you dealing with them because you want to become a doctor? Are you here because you want to do research? Are you here because you want the satisfaction of earning a degree? Whatever the reason, I know you have one, and I challenge you to keep that reason in the front of your mind as you continue into finals.
This may have been a little cheesy, but I think everyone needs a little encouragement every now and again! If you see someone else in need of encouragement, take the time to do a small act of kindness for them. You can make it through the stress, and come out on top! I believe in you, and you should, too. 🙂
You’ve got this, champ.
