A Video Postcard to the College of Design
Let me start off by saying that I love the entire Iowa State campus. It is so beautiful, even if the temperatures are a bit lower than we would like them to be. #IowaWinters
Even still, during my orientation to Cyclone Nation, one building in particular always stood out to me.
Maybe it was the architecture behind its design. Maybe it was the sculpture outside that interested me.
Either way, I wanted to check this building out even though my major was nowhere near it.
If you haven’t guessed by now (it is in the title after all), it’s the College of Design.

When I was a kid, my mom and I would go to museums and check the art out. I would be in summer camp programs where museum tours happened once a week and while everyone else was bored of them, I was soaking up all the knowledge I could within those walls.
To me, the College of Design feels like a big museum, but even better because I can look at artwork from some of my design friends.
So here is a video postcard I made in my multimedia production class to commemorate one of my favorite buildings on campus. Hope you enjoy!
Now tell me, what are some of your favorite buildings on campus?
