The “Before Spring Break Slump” – Keep Grinding!
The weather is getting nicer! I know these warm temperatures are getting us all excited for spring break, but there is still lots to do! If you are like me, and just looking for an excuse to get out of the apartment while still getting work done, here is a list of my four favorite study spots to get over that “before spring break slump!”
- Stomping Grounds is a classic café, located right on Welch Avenue. This close to campus location is conveniently open until midnight everyday of the week for your late night cramming sessions.
- Starbucks is a well-known, quick stop bustling with college students all day long. This is my go to when I am crunched on time. Conveniently located right on Lincoln Way and across from campus, this place has plenty of single window seats for my fellow people watchers out there!
- Café Milo, another quaint and off campus hot spot. Located in West Ames, this cafe is busy with apartment residents. I especially enjoy this place because the tables aren’t too close together, so you’ll never feel that “crowded coffee shop” vibe!
- Café Diem, for your get-off-campus urges. This place is located in downtown Ames, just far enough away for a refreshing change of scenery and a couple hours of relocated productivity…My personal favorite!
There you have it – My top four favorite study hot spots to keep you going until spring break! Because let’s face it, we all need a break from the library once in a while.
Keep grinding, my friends! Spring break is almost upon us!
