Want to know more about these events? Read on.
Wearables Design Show & Reception
April 10 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This year, one of the CORE DSNS102 studios designed wearables that will be shown ‘fashion show style’ in Kocimski Auditorium (101 Design). This is a great opportunity to not only support freshman students in the CORE, but also get a glimpse at one of the design CORE classes and see what it’s all about!
April 12 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
The College of Design’s Awards Day program is open to students, staff, and faculty of the College of Design, university friends and guests. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with brunch served in Gallery 181, followed by the presentation of several departmental and college awards at 10 a.m. in the Lightfoot Forum. This is a great opportunity to recognize the successes of our design students and faculty, along with the Iowa State donors!
Give Back Day
This is exactly what it sounds like. People involved in the college will be participating in various volunteer opportunities to give back!
Design Student Group Activities
Lastly, in celebration of the College of Design’s 40 years, there will be a variety of other student activities throughout the week. Make sure to stop by and check them out!
See you at Design!
