Hi everyone! I am Alexis, a senior majoring in biology.

I have a great sense of humor and laugh at just about anything – even
if it isn’t that funny. A few of my favorite things include puppies, volleyball, traveling, ice cream cake, and game shows.

I live my life one day at a time, but have big dreams for my future. I look forward to making more memories in my Cyclone Life! 🙂

Dining Centers

Iowa State has plenty of food options available to you including dining centers, restaurants, cafes, and c-stores. These are located all throughout campus, but the dining centers are conveniently located in the heart of the residence halls. These 4 (soon to be 5!) dining centers offer an all-you-can-eat cafeteria style option. From pizza, pasta, a salad bar, sandwich shop, and much more, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll go hungry! When I lived in Friley, I mostly ate at UDCC but on the weekends and some nights I would venture over to the other dining centers just to change things up!

Conversations Dining
Convos is located in Oak-Elm residence hall and serves primarily the Richardson Court area. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also offer late night meal bundles so if you want to just grab a snack or meal for the night, this is the place to go!

Seasons Marketplace
Seasons is set in the middle of Maple-Willow-Larch. This also serves the Richardson Court area as well as MWL. Similar to Convos, Seasons offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Seasons offers a wide range of options from Italian food to smoked meats from Hickory’s. I personally enjoy Seasons breakfast selection as well!

Storms Dining
Storms is the dining center for Wallace-Wilson residence hall. Storms is a little different because they only serve dinner. Storms is similar to Seasons and Convos in that it has a wide variety of options including fresh bakery items, Blue Bunny ice cream, pizza, salad and deli stations, vegetarian options, and more!

Union Drive Marketplace
UDCC sits in the middle of Friley, Helser, Eaton, and Martin. UDCC has a wok for quesadillas or stir-fry, a deli that offers meal bundles (this includes a personalized deli sandwich, 3 sides of either chips, cookies, fruit, or carrots, and a drink), a pizza and pasta bar, and of course a full dessert area. Their soft served ice cream machines and full range of toppings are great!

Friley Windows
The newest dining center will open in August of 2017! Friley Windows will be located inside of Friley residence hall. They will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night meal options, and every time in between! From international foods, home style foods, comfort foods, homemade pizza, vegetarian and vegan options, salad bars, and homemade ice cream and a dessert bar, there will be no shortage of finding something good to eat here!
