International Culture Festival In China
Last month we participated in the annual International Culture Festival at Lanzhou Jiaotong University! There were students from 38 countries that participated, including 10 Americans, 8 of which are from Iowa State. As part of the festival, we prepared some typical Iowa food (tater tot casserole, corn casserole, banana bread, etc.) and participated in the performances in the evening. Check out some pictures below!
Our food was very popular and ran out very fast!
I got to be one of the hosts for the performance portion of the cultural festival!
Students, from America, South Korea, Kyrgystan, and Yemen performing a skit in Chinese, highlighting some cultural differences between our countries and China.
