Go Vote! 2018 Student Government Election!

It is that time of the year again, elections are fast approaching! You have probably seen a lot of chalk on the ground, posters, buttons, flyers, and more around campus. Student Government hosts elections every year for Iowa State students to elect their senators as well as president and vice president for the next academic year. This an important election, you will be voting for the person you would like to represent and advocate for you all. Student Government is an organization that serves students by providing funding to Iowa State registered student organizations and represents the student body when working with administers, the Iowa Board of Regents, and students. They develop initiatives and projects to continue the progression of improving our campus and fixing the concerns of the student body.

Voting for the elections will be done through a link that will be emailed out to students. Students will be able to vote on March 6th and 7th, it is the Tuesday and Wednesday before Spring Break. Students will be voting on senators based on their college and their residency. All of the candidate bios can be found on the Student Government website.

The most important thing is that you GO OUT AND VOTE! Please make sure your voice is being heard! Make sure you do you research on all of the candidates for the senators and presidential positions!
